This blog post is for folks who use every bit of their PS3, and want to upgrade it so they can use even more! To start, lets look at our HDD choices. We use Western Digital Scorpio Black edition HDD for our upgrades.
They come in the sizes of 250GB ($100), 320GB ($115), 500GB ($135), and 750GB ($150). We also NOW offer a 1 terabyte Western Digital Scorpio Blue edition HDD ($180). These are your regular hard drives, that will give you much better performance than the stock HDD that came with your system. For whatever needs you have, these will get you everything you want.
Next we have our SSD (Solid State Drive)/HDD hybrids. These Seagate Monumentus XT drives mix both the speed of a solid state drive with a regular hard drive. They run about 70% faster than your standard hard drive and dont cost as much as a full SSD.
We have these in 500GB ($130), and 750GB ($190) sizes.
Lastly, we have our performance grade SSDs. These OCZ Agility Series solid state drives are the best because they have no moving parts, so they run much faster, as well as cooler. Which helps a ton with your system and possible overheating issues it might have.
The sizes of these that we offer are 120GB ($145), 240GB ($225), 360GB ($350), and the 480GB ($349)
