Whats going on gamers! Its the leaders in PS3 repair again coming to talk to you about the latest gaming news from Tokyo Game Show 2012!
Now while its still going on, there are new games that are being announced or demoed each hour or so. So we will just go over a few of the highlights that we were completely excited about!
First we have Metal Gear Solid: Revengance:
Konami debuted a new storyline trailer for the game, as well as have a playable demo on the showroom floor. We’ve seen both videos, and although its in Japanese, we can say that the house that Kojima built is back up to their bizarre yet exciting shenanagans once again. If you arent familliar in this game you dont play as Solid Snake, or any of the variations of him. This game has Raiden from MGS 2 as the leading guy. Very little beyond that has been told about the story (especially since none of us here speak Japanese very well) but it LOOKS AMAZING. Many people were worried because Platnium Games were taking over the production on this. But if you are a fan of the Viewtiful Joe or Okami series…this looks to be right up to par with their known work.
Next we have Injustice: Gods Among Us:
This game from NetherRealm Studios, the creators of Mortal Kombat, pit all of your favorite DC Comic’s superheros and villans against each other. You can finally be Solomon Grundy and beat the tar out of Batman if thats what you are into. Its only a T rating so of course their wont be any fatalities. But I can say, from the footage we just saw, there seems to be a TON of blood. So for the hardcore gamers where things like that matter…we dont think you will be sad when this game come out very soon.
And finally, Dead or Alive 5:
We havent seen this fighter in a LOOOOONG time so its awesome to see that its back in action. Beyond all of well known and loved characters this Tecmo Koei series, they decided to add a shocking upgrade for the fighting genre fans. Favorites from the Virtua Fighter series will be in the game as well! There are tons more stage hazards this go round, as at certain points you can choose mid battle during a bullet time sequence which hazard you would like to knock your opponent into. One I saw had two fighters in the middle of a warzone, and a fighter was uppercutted into the blades of a black hawk helicopter. It was pretty cool if I say so myself!
